What should I expect?

At 1 Church we know that you may feel a bit uneasy on your first visit. That is why we love to make our guests feel welcomed and at home. When you visit us, you’ll be greeted at the door by one of our friendly members. They will guide you and answer your questions. So, grab a cup of coffee and meet us in the Cafetorium for Worship and God's Word.

What should I wear?

We are more concerned about the person inside and connecting them with God rather than the outward appearance. Some folks dress up while others wear jeans, slacks or on Bronco Sundays, Bronco gear. Not to worry, come as you are.

What about my Kids?

We love children and youth. We have classes available for children geared towards their age group, with hands on projects. They will  remain with their parents during Worship and be dismissed at the conclusion of Worship to join their age appropriate groups.

What does Worship look like?

Let us come before Him with thanksgiving and extol Him with MUSIC and SONG”.  Psalms 95:2

  • Here at 1 Church, one of the most crucial of all our activities is the time we spend in worship.  When we gather, our primary focus is not on ourselves, but on our Lord.  We join together to exalt Him, lifting our voices in praise to the One Who gives us life in all its fullness.  Without question, this is central to our life as a body of believers.
  • Of course, worship services at 1 Church are not dry and dull exercises.  During our services, worship takes many forms.  Sometimes it is structured, and other times, spontaneous.  Sometimes it is loud, and other times very quiet.  Sometimes our faces show an explosive celebration of praise, and other times reverence.  Sometimes we sing choruses, contemporary songs and other times hymns.

We clap our hands - "Clap your hands, all you nations: shout to God with cries of joy." Psalms:47:1

We raise our hands - "I will praise you as long as I live, and in your name I will lift up my hands." Psalms 63:4
